Neo is in pretty good condition overall, but Pixie has spent a little time providing some extra TLC. A bit of lubrication on the window winding mechanism has resolved all stiffness and squeaks:
Some surface rust got a scrape down, a coat of converter, and a spray of paint; taking care of anything that could have developed into a problem later:
And we gave the step a quick coat of paint at the same time:
Replacement of the roller means the sliding door is now smooth. A big thank you to big brother Vin for removing the existing seized bolts and replacing them for us, allowing Pixie to swap out the part when it arrived:
And lastly, we’re removing the paint off the back window and have added a rear view mirror for better visibility and extra interior light:
These easy steps have taken care of any niggly bits. Neo is a pleasure to drive, and we look forward to the many adventures we will have together.
