An Apple a Day

After our harvesting day with the Orchard Project, we were inspired to do some picking of our own. We did a quick local forage and returned with an abundance of apples.

With these we made canned apples, applesauce, apple juice, dehydrated apple slices, apple crumble, apple cider vinegar from the scraps, and even a carved apple for a mascot 😉

We really enjoy food preserving days, and, it looks like we’ve got our apple a day sorted for while!
