When Freyja tussled with Katie in the Mendips

It’s a beautiful day here in the Mendips, showing no sign of last night’s brush with storm Katie that saw winds of up to 100 mph hit the UK. We don’t know what speed winds we rocked through, but we felt more like we were in a boat then a camper – not an experience we’re in a hurry to repeat – happily, Freyja too shows no signs of the night’s skirmish.

We’re heading to Bath tonight so hopefully we’ll find some WiFi to update this post with some pictures of the last few days; including a waterfall, a stone circle and a walk around the whole of chew valley lake!

(Update) Here’s the photo’s we promised:

One thing we didn’t have time to update you all on before we left was the upgrade to our leisure batteries and addition of 12v sockets in the back, so we’ll do an updated ‘equipment’ post soon. For now, we’re off to enjoy the sun. Have a lovely day! 🙂
